Kids in the Rotunda, Madison's favorite family-friendly, Saturday live performance series, has been extended for one more week this season!

This musical experience transforms the Capitol Theater into a cocktail lounge and gives audiences the opportunity to sit on stage. In the third and final performance in the 2023/24 “Up Close” season, Mexican singer and composer Magos Herrera  presents an evening of music.

Talented musical artists from throughout South-Central Wisconsin will perform traditional mariachi music and provide cultural musical instrument demonstrations. The event will also feature Colombian music and dance to Celebrate Cinco De Mayo weekend in downtown Madison.

Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett will embark on an extensive tour this summer with his Large Band, including a newly confirmed stop in Madison at Overture Center on Tuesday, July 2.

The second performer in the 2023/24 “Up Close” season, harpist, composer and producer Maeve Gilchrist will perform on Friday, March 29 at 8 p.m. for an unforgettable night of music.

For their final production of the 2023-24 season, Forward Theater Company will present What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck. Directed by Jen Uphoff Gray. Performances are in the Playhouse at Overture Center for the Arts, April 4-21.
