The story begins in Berlin in a park in the snow. A stray black man 5,000 euros at his feet. The robbery went wrong, the police came to arrest him. Everyone looks at him. He wonders what he's doing there. In short, the stage is set: the story of "Michalak Ethiopian" before us. That of a young man adopted by an Austrian family, embarked on a chaotic history of Salzburg in Addis Ababa. He fled the country that is not his and dream of easy money, women and sunshine. But it will face the brunt of the system with a capital "S": the administration, the police, justice ...

Going Home tells us his lonely battle his inner quest, his great journey "backwards". It's a show at breast height as the director Vincent Hennebicq (Pests and Heroes) chose to wear in combining words and music, and set about personal abyss around resolutely topical subjects (individual rights, equity face justice, the exile, the West as paradise ...).

Michalak, actor Dorcy Rugamba, is neither a poet nor a storyteller. It is whole, direct, unadorned. And the writing of this piece is its image, both gross and skinned, music and authentic. We follow him through the maze of its existence. With his hopes and fears, his modesty and his anger, disillusionment and dreams ...
Worn by Vincent Cahay original compositions (piano and drums) and François Sauveur (violin and guitar) and illustrated by the video work of Olivier Boonjing realized in Ethiopia, Going Home plunges, sounds and images in support, in 'battered existence Michalak.
