'Darkside' is the story of a fictional 1973 Apollo 18 mission that is met with crisis when the lunar module rocket engine fails to ignite, stranding two astronauts on the surface of the moon and leaving a third in solo orbit. As they work with ground control toward rescue, flashbacks reveal their stories. Spellbinding and emotional, this gripping story is both a psychological study and an adventure tale. Filled with soul and symbolism, Darkside is a well-crafted mixture of sci-fi, drama and suspense, with plenty of humor to break the tension.
Directed by Michael L. Morehead and produced by Ivory Mazur and Michael Morehead, Darkside features the acting talents of Dan Maloney, Henry Farfsing, Merritt Beischel, Trisha Cooper, David Abbott, Anne Wrider, and Ivory Mazur. The set designer is Freddie Thoman; sound designer is Ed Cohen, and stage manager is Tatiana Godfrey.
