Rickie Lee Jones is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer who has created music in a variety of styles, including jazz, pop, rock, R&B, soul and blues over the course of her five-decade career. She has won two Grammy Awards: Best New Artist in 1980, and Best Jazz Vocal Collaboration in 1991, for her cover of "Makin' Whoopee" with Dr. John. In June, 2015, the documentary The Other Side of Desire was released, which followed Rickie as she created a studio album of the same name, her first in ten years.

An Intimate Evening with Rickie Lee Jones will play Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Center 501 W Main Street.Tickets start at $35.
