StageOne Family Theatre in Louisville is presenting the World Premiere of The Glorious Adventures of the Mighty Robin Hood, written by Le Petomane Co-Founders Gregory and Abigail Maupin on February 21, 2014 at 7:30pm.

After reviving the Mimi and Marshall Heuser New Play Development last season with the musical world premiere Wiley and the Hairy Man, the Maupins were commissioned to write the swashbuckling tale.

In step with the comedic style of original Le Petomane works, a Merrie Band of Traveling Players rehearses its splendid and original telling of The Glorious Adventures of the Mighty Robin Hood, a tale of adventure, escape, kidnapping, stunt archery, swordplay and treachery, in which Robin and the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest rob unsuspecting nobles, thwart the devious Sheriff of Nottingham's plot against Maid Marian, and escape the clutches of the usurping Prince John.

Recommended for ages 8 and up. Tickets are $19.75 each. To purchase call the Kentucky Center at 502.584.7777, go to www.kentuckycenter.org or to the Box Office at 501 W. Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
