Kentucky Shakespeare's production of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead will play The Kentucky Center's Bomhard Theatre (501 W. Main Street, Louisville), Tuesday-Thursday, January 3-5, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, January 6, 2017 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1 p.m.

Kentucky Shakespeare's Producing Artistic Director Matt Wallace returns to the stage with company veterans in Tom Stoppard's modern dramatic masterpiece.

This fabulously inventive comedy is told from the worm's-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Hamlet.

Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get the chance to take the lead role but do so in a world where echoes of Waiting for Godot resound, where reality and illusion intermix and where fate leads our two heroes to a tragic, but inevitable end.
