Un Fil à La Patte (Cat Among The Pigeons) by Georges FEYDEAU begins today, Thursday, June 2 and continues Friday, June 3, 2016. The play is performed in French by La Troupe du Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK's Gang) and directed by Pierre Leloup.

Treacherous lovers, wealthy heiresses and a Spanish general are flung together in a dizzying whirlwind of greed, lies and love. This high-spirited comedy is considered one of the greatest written by the king of French farce.

Lucette has two lovers: Fernand Bois d'Enghien, a ne'er do well who is secretly affianced to a Baroness' daughter and a flamboyant Mexican general who challenges to a duel any man who comes near her. An amateur composer who hopes the lady will sing his song places his card in a http://www.theatreraymondkabbaz.com/bouquet sent anonymously and thereby seals his fate: the ne'er do well uses him to divert the general's flashing sword. Meanwhile, the ne'er do well is trapped in his skivvies outside his apartment. When the cops come to arrest him for indecent exposure, you can be sure it is the songwriter who goes to jail. The comedy vibrates with farcical situations and extrications before the truth is revealed.
