The McCallum Theatre Announces Springtime Trips to New York and London

The McCallum Theatre, in partnership with Break-Away Tours, has announced its 2013 Springtime Theatre Tours to New York and London. The New York trip will include three Broadway productions -- Lucky Guy, Orphans and Matilda the Musical --- while London theatregoers will enjoy four productions including The Audience, Peter & Alice, Once and a fourth show yet to be announced.

The London tour departs from Los Angeles April 27 and returns May 4, 2013. It includes air fare, 7 days and 6 nights at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, four Theater Productions including The Audience with Dame Helen Mirren, Peter & Alice with Judy Dench, Once, The Musical and a fourth production to be announced. Also included is a welcome dinner, full English breakfast daily, guided walking tours, tours of Royal National Theatre and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and many other visits to well-known English landmarks. The trip will also include a Regent's Canal Barge Cruise, an afternoon Tea and Theater discussion plus a visit to London's Olympic site. Airport transfers in London are also included. The price is $3,295 per person, double occupancy plus applicable taxes and fuel charges of approximately $650.

The New York trip features 7 days/6 nights departing Palm Springs on May 22 and returning May 28, 2013. Guests will be staying at the Millennium Broadway Hotel. Three exciting Broadway productions are included: Lucky Guy starring Tom Hanks, Orphans starring Alec Baldwin and Matilda, The Musical, winner of a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards in 2012 and five Best Musical Awards. This tour includes a welcome dinner, breakfast at Carnegie Deli, daily guided walking tours, tours of tour of Kykuit (Rockefeller Estate) and Union Church of Pocantico Hills, tour of Lincoln Center, a breakfast theatre talk and tour of The Players, lunch at Pete's Tavern and a visit to the 9/11 memorial. Airport transfers in New York are included. This trip is $3,295 per person, double occupancy. Applicable taxes and airport charges of approximately $100 will be added.
