The nonprofit Teemu Selanne Youth Sports Foundation (TSYSF) recently announced the Teemu Selanne Celebrity Classic, which is a celebrity poker tournament sponsored by Power Balance, Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Montage Laguna Beach, followed by a celebrity golf tournament, Monday, Nov. 22, at the Coto de Caza Golf Course, with proceeds benefitting TSYSF.

Highlights will include:

· Luc Robitaille being honored with the 2010 Youth Sports Achievement Award.

· World-class poker champion Annie Duke hosting the poker tournament.

· Artist and special guest David Garibaldi performing his Rhythm and Hue art show, with original paintings up for auction.

"My foundation believes that when kids play, everyone wins," says NHL All-Star and Olympic medalist Teemu Selanne. "Most importantly, it's all about the kids, regardless of the sport they play. We know what organized sports can do for kids, such as make them responsible and physically fit, teach them core values and help them become future role models. These are the primary goals of the Foundation."

The TSYSF's mission is to provide financial, educational and inspirational opportunities for children and their families through structured sports programs.

Along with the chance to play poker and golf with actors, professional athletes from the NHL, NFL, MLB and NBA, and other celebrities, participants can bid on incredible silent and live auction items, including the annual signature item, "Test Drive with Teemu," in a Ferrari, which is the official automobile sponsor this year.
