Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's Winds Down 2009 October Concert-Fest

Preceded by Michael Bernardi (son of Broadway legend Herschel Bernardi) who, earlier this month, made his cabaret debut at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, CA, the venue concludes its festival of October concerts with noted Los Angeles artists Charlotte Ruiz, Lisa Stanley and JeAnne Page.

CHARLOTTE RUIZ takes center stage Saturday, October 24 in The ReEmergence of Charlotte Ruiz. Award-winning Conductor, Musical Director, and Pianist Steven Applegate will accompany Ms. Ruiz. An alumni of Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles where she began classical voice training, Ms. Ruiz graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Music. She then enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Since that time, she has appeared with Opera Nova as Marcellina in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro as well as Frugola in Puccini's Il Tabarro. She has also appeared with Southern California's New Valley Symphony as Frasquita in Bizet's Carmen. Theatre credits include A Christmas Carol, The King and I, and The Sound of Music at the Glendale Centre Theatre. Her engagement at Sterling's marks her cabaret concert debut.

Lisa Stanley headlines Sunday, October 25 in My Life on the Double D List. Ms. Stanley is the Producer-Director-Choreographer of two musical groups, The Voices of Christmas, a Dickens-styleChristmas caroling company with over seventy-five singers; and The Wonderelles, a classic 50s/60s music revue. She was most recently seen on the hit television shows Nip/Tuck, E.R., The West Wing, the Hallmark Channel's Silver Bells and, as a specialty performer, on the top network game shows Deal or No Deal (three appearances) and One vs. 100. Ms. Stanley has also starred in the longest running musical in Arizona history, Six Women with Brain Death...or...Expiring Minds Want to Know, and has been a cast member in several national Broadway tours. Robbie Gillman serves as Ms. Stanley's Musical Director.

JeAnne Page returns to Sterling's in Just Past Prime Time with Musical Director Charlie Harrison Saturday, October 31, 2009. During her diversified singing and dancing career, Ms. Page appeared at The Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas, Harrah's Hotels in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Reno, and shared the spotlight with such superstar legends as Sammy Davis, Jr., Wayne Newton, Lou Rawls, The Righteous Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Boz Scaggs, Nancy Wilson and Gladys Knight. Equally impressive, Ms. Page's musical theatre career includes starring and featured roles in such popular shows as Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Peter Pan,  Kiss Me Kate and Gigi. More recently, Ms. Page appeared in Carmel,  California at Clint Eastwood's Hogs Breathe Inn and at Carmel's Inn  at Spanish Bay . She also appeared at The Ritz Carlton Hotels in  both  Austin, Texas and New York City; and sang at a private villa in  Tuscany (La Toscana) near the small village of Siena. Ms. Page is  married to popular television and film actor Charles Howerton. Her all  new show marks her third headlining engagement at Sterling's.

 Current pricing at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's is a $50 VIP  Premium,  Preferred Seating Package which includes a four-course,  prix-fixe  dinner with a choice from four signature entrees, plus a  one hour performance. A select number of $25 General Admission,  general  seating packages (inclusive of a minimum toward food and/or beverage and the performance) is also available.

Saturday dinner seatings begin at 6:30 pm, followed by 8:00 pm performances.

Sunday dinner seatings are an hour ealier, beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a 7:00 pm performance.
