Little Fish Theatre today announced the productions slated for the coming year, ten plays and an evening of shorts, selected to delight, amaze and entertain.

The plays were chosen for their remarkable range and balance of comedy and drama. Fascinating characters confront enormous challenges with life affirmation and humor, making for a highly entertaining mix of emotions and interactions.

Founded in 2002, Little Fish Theatre is a 65-seat playhouse on Centre Street in downtown San Pedro. Together with Associate Artistic Director Suzanne Dean, Lisa Coffi, the company Founder and Producing Artistic Director, delivers high-quality productions year-round to an appreciative audience from all over Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

"We've made a lot of improvements to the theatre building this year," says Lisa. "Now our audience members enjoy remarkable performances in air conditioned comfort. It's a welcome change!"

Ensuring that every moment of theatrical performance is sheer magic is Tara Donovan, who joins Little Fish this year as Managing Director. With a degree in Theatre from San Diego State University, Tara has been independently producing theatre in Los Angeles since 2008. She has produced with Pico Playhouse, Promenade Playhouse, and Pacific Resident Theatre, and currently owns and operates an actors' workshop studio in Burbank
