Untitled and Unauthorized: ALMOST FAMOUS in Concert, a one-night-only engagement, will be held Sunday, June 12th at the historic Troubadour. Tickets for the event are on sale now at troubadour.com and at Ticketfly. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast below!

With a set list of rock classics, this live concert-tribute stars Garrett Clayton (King Cobra, Teen Beach Movie), Kelley Jakle (Pitch Perfect), Corbin Bleu (In The Heights, High School Musical), Chrissie Fit (Teen Beach Movie, Pitch Perfect 2), Ashley Argota (The Fosters, True Jackson VP), Emma Hunton (Wicked, Spring Awakening), Matt Magnusson (Breaking Through), Lindsay Pearce (Recovery Road, Glee), Shelley Regner (Pitch Perfect), Abraham Lim (Grandfathered, The Glee Project), Alec Cyganowski (American Idiot), and Zach Zagoria (Rush Hour), with Elmo Zapp, Austin Farmer, Andrew Orbison and Alex Seller rounding out the band for Stillwater and Humble Pie.

This music-driven love letter pays homage to the film set against the unforgettable music of the era, inspired by and satirizing the story of Stillwater, hard-working band making good, their devoted female fans, and the teenage journalist covering them on their Almost Famous tour from summer '73.

ALMOST FAMOUS in Concert is adapted and directed by Topher Rhys, with musical direction by Elmo Zapp and Andrew Orbison, and movement by Jen Oundjian.

This rock-infused presentation is produced for glory|struck Productions by Topher Rhys, Jamie Lee Barnard, and Juliana Scott who most recently brought Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT to life as a highly-lauded, immersive warehouse production in Downtown Los Angeles. Before that, glory|struck presented the award-winning Los Angeles revival of bare, and the Love is Louder-aligned Spring Awakening in Concert. Mark Heidel is co-producer.

Producers state, "The inspiration of the movie was a love letter to music. The art of coming-of-age by finding your voice: falling in love with a vinyl, listening to it on repeat, and singing along at the top of your lungs. This concert is our tribute to the feeling the film gave us: music is intimately universal. Those times, places, and people are unforgettable to us when that one song comes on the jukebox."

Deemed a "new, exciting and effective brand of theatre," glory|struck's mission is to bring theatre back to our concert-loving roots - vibrant, guitar-heavy, and loud - while using the music and its message to inspire collective action. Prior non-profits glory|struck has partnered with to generate awareness include To Write Love On Her Arms, The Trevor Project, It Gets Better Project, and Love is Louder.
