Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill, Chief Sitting Bull, and Frank Butler will appear in Haven Academy of the Arts production of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, a musical with lyrics and music by Irving Berlin and a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields. Songs that became hits include "There's No Business Like Show Business", "Doin' What Comes Natur'lly", "You Can't Get a Man with a Gun", "They Say It's Wonderful" and "Anything You Can Do."

The story is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860-1926), a sharpshooter who is the best shot around and manages to support her little brother and sisters by selling the game she hunts.

Persuaded to join Buffalo Bill's travelling Wild West Show, she soon falls hopelessly in love with Frank Butler, the show's featured shooting ace. But when Annie eclipses Frank as the show's main attraction, she realizes she'll have to make some hard choices if she wants to win the man she loves.

Don't miss this cast of 40 talented actors, ages 11 through 21, as they bring one of Broadway's most popular musicals and the Wild West to El Segundo! Sharing the role of Annie Oakley are Mindy Truman (age, 17 from Gardena, CA) and Kayla Atkinson (age 17 from Hawthorne, CA).

Please join us for a wonderful evening of great family entertainment on Thursday, July 10 at 7:00pm, Friday, July 11 at 7:00pm, and Saturday, July 12 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm at the OCF Auditorium at 343 Coral Circle in El Segundo. Seats are reserved and will be available at the door for $15 with additional VIP seating in the first two rows for $20 or $25.
