Launching his LA concert debut, Broadway singer & actor Perry Laylon Ojeda performing songs with lyrics by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green, the longest running creative partnership in theatre history.

The multiple award winning team of Comden and Green have distinguished themselves as playwrights, screenwriters and lyricists who have collaborated with such great Broadway musical and film composers as Leonard Bernstein, Jule Styne, Cy Coleman, and Andre Previn. This special cabaret performance, starring Perry Laylon Ojeda, is a musical tribute to the unparalleled contributions they have made to the American Musical Theatre.

Perry relates his personal experience working with the legendary songwriting team, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, when he performed the leading role of "Gabey" in the 1998 Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN and reveals in his own touching words and memories how they mentored and touched his life as an actor & performing artist.

With musical direction by Shelly Markham, Mr. Ojeda will sing many familiar and several not-so-familiar songs from such Comden and Green musicals as Bells are Ringing, Subways are For Sleeping, On the Town, Fade Out, Fade, In, On the Twentieth Century, Do Re Mi, Will Rogers Follies, and Wonderful Town; as well as hidden gems and secrets behind many of the screenplays for award-winning films: Singing in the Rain, The Band Wagon, and Auntie Mame.
