From an old firehouse, to a strip joint, to the now-celebrated location of the annual Full Moon Festival, Sammy's Place has been a fixture on Philadelphia's eclectic South Street for decades. It's a place where the locals come to celebrate life and to discover the legendary magic of the rabbit that dwells in Sammy's moon clock hanging over the bar. The club now lies at a crossroads with the ownership threatened and its future in jeopardy. So come on in, grab a seat and experience a song-and-dance filled magical evening of love, laughter and family on SOUTH STREET - a new musical comedy.

SOUTH STREET was conceived by Kathleen K. Johnson and the creative team for the production features direction by Roger Castellano (award-winning LA regional director/choreographer); choreography by Dana Solimando (Jesus Christ Superstar, national tour); scenic design by Andy Walmsley (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, "American Idol," "America's Got Talent," "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"); costume design by Kate Bergh (Prisoner of Second Avenue with Jason Alexander, Dangerous Beauty associate designer); lighting design by Brian Monahan (2006 Tony Award nominee, The Drowsy Chaperone); sound design by Julie Ferrin (Peter Pan national tour with Cathy Rigby); orchestrations by Don Sebesky (Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk and Emmy Award-winning orchestrator/arranger); music supervision by Andrew Sotomayor (Cutman: A Boxing Musical); and musical direction by Michael Borth (Off-Broadway's The Marvelous Wonderettes).
