Due to popular demand & rave reviews PANIC! PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCE the extension of Shanley's Twofer production through Saturday, April 15th, 2017 of DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA along with the premiere short of POISON.

John Patrick Shanley has revised his one-act dark comedy, Poison, and the new version is being produced for the first time, directed by Broadway Veteran Kay Cole (created Maggie in A CHORUS LINE, directed DESPERATE WRITER)

In "Poison," (A 15 minute Short) a young woman consults a fortuneteller about whether her former boyfriend will ever return to her; on hearing an answer she doesn't like, she demands a potion to achieve the result she wants. Kenny has seen the depths of Kelly's self-hatred, and he'll never date her again-unless he drinks the fortune-teller's mysterious potion, which will kill his soul as dead as Kelly's. Can Kelly convince him to drink the potion? Can she convince herself?

CAST OF POISON

Nicola Tombacco - Kelsey Flynn - Katie Zeiner

Danny and the Deep Blue Sea - An explosive, deeply affecting study of alienation and the redemptive power of love, this provocative play from the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright "is the equivalent of sitting at ringside watching a prize fight that concludes in a loving embrace" (New York Times).
