THE ACTORS FUND Presents the 14th Annual TONY Awards Party Honoring Brian Stokes Mitchell, With Host Tommy Tune and Presenter Annette Bening.

Join host Tommy Tune as THE ACTORS FUND honors TONY Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell at their 144h Annual Tony Awards® Party with the Julie Harris Award to be presented by Annette Bening in recognition of not only his theatrical accomplishments, but also his leadership as Chairman of the Board of The Actors Fund. The gala is produced and written by Marc Cherry and David Rambo with the only live feed in CA of the TONY AWARDS® broadcast from NY.

WHEN: Sunday, June 13th, 2010
3:30pm -- Cocktails and Silent Auction begins
5:00pm to 8:00p.m. -- Dinner and live telecast

While the world's eyes are focused on the TONY AWARDS® in New York on Sunday June 13th, theatre patrons gather in Los Angeles to watch the ceremony live via satellite and honor TONY winner Brian Stokes Mitchell at the 14th Annual TONY AWARDS® Benefit presented by The Actors Fund. Previous recipients have included Julie Harris, Gwen Verdon, Charles Durning, Rita Moreno, James Earl Jones, Tyne Daly, Lauren Bacall, Stockard Channing, Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli, Jerry Herman and Chita Rivera.

The Celebrity Host Committee includes Carol Channing, Gordon Davidson, Laurence Fishburne, Carl Reiner, Chita Rivera, Lily Tomlin and Dick Van Dyke. The 2010 TONY® party is sponsored by *Continental Airlines *DIRECTV * Sextant Wines & 10knots Wines *Sunset Marquis Hotel Restaurant Spa and *Staging Techniques.

Brian Stokes Mitchell has enjoyed a rich and varied career on Broadway, television, film, voice-overs and recording, along with appearances in the great American concert halls. His Broadway career includes performances in Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, King Hedley II and Mail, which earned him a Theatre World award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. His long television career began with a seven-year stint on Trapper John, MD. Numerous film and TV appearances include Ugly Betty, One Last Thing, recurring roles on Crossing Jordan and Frasier, PBS' Great Performances, DreamWorks' The Prince of Egypt, South Pacific at Carnegie Hall, and his Presidential Debut in The Singer and the Song from the White House.
