Larry Minion began his theatre career at the age of eight, writing plays for assemblies at an experimental elementary school he was attending.  He continued to write through his teens, having his plays presented in several New York City theatres.

Later, he started working Off and Off-Off Broadway as a stage manager and prop master. Larry also took an interest in working with organizations that were refurbishing the New York theatres such as the 42nd St. Redevelopment Project, and later the restructuring of underused spaces on E. 4th Street, including the New York Theatre Workshop and the Kraine Theatre. Minion has worked with the Roundabout Theatre Company and Second Stage Theatre Company on Broadway and Off-Broadway Productions, and has also had a hand in the producing of the television show "Psi-ops (Area 23)" now a very popular video game.

While splitting time on both the East and West coasts, Minion found himself in Los Angeles, working as a prop master for three years on L.A.'s longest running show "Tamara," the show that popularized the theatrical event where audiences follow the actors around, becoming part of the action.

Minion has been instrumental in the founding of Resolutions Theatre Company and the Hypothetical Theatre Company in New York, but is probably best known for helping to create and produce theatrefofo, a trend setting theater company. In addition, he has produced many acclaimed and award-winning shows from the techno-opera "Bluegirl" to countless number of touring solo shows.

Last fall, while director Michael Phillips and Larry Minion were in separate meetings at the same café, the two met.  They got along so well, that Larry was asked to come on board as Senior Producer of Reel Alchemy Productions.   Minion's mission it to work on developing shows that might propel Los Angeles into the first class theatre center it has the potential to be.
Minion is very excited about the World Premiere opening of their upcoming Anais project - - ANAIS:  an Erotic Evening with Anais Nin.  He was amazed about how little material has been dramatically presented about one of the most fascinating people of the 20th century.
ANAIS: an Erotic Evening with Anais Nin will have its World Premiere September 10,
2010, at the Sherry Theatre in the NoHo Arts District.
