Kritzerland at Sterling's will present Toonful! Great Songs From Animated Films, and A Tribute to the Memory of Michelle Nicastro on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

Statement from Kritzerland at Sterling's: "We're very excited to announce that in January we move to Sterling's at Vitello's in Studio City – on Sundays! We love doing shows at the Gardenia (all sixteen of them), but Wednesdays at 9pm have been difficult for people – at Sterling's we're on Sunday and at 7pm.

This enables us to not only do the kinds of shows you've been seeing, but also family-friendly shows like Toonful, which is chockfull of great songs from animated classics such as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Toy Story, and others, including some fun obscure stuff (it wouldn't be a Kritzerland show otherwise). Producer Bruce Kimmel had a long and wonderful working relationship with the late Michelle Nicastro – four solo albums - and she appeared on more than thirty others for him over the years. This show is a tribute to her warm and wonderful memory. As always, the cast includes some of the best voices in town, and in this all-female cast are some of the loveliest voices that have appeared in animated features as well as musical theatre."

Reservations: Dinner reservations are from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm. The $31/person charge includes everything - cover charge and a $13 drink/food allowance as well as a reserved seat at a table. You are welcome to spend beyond the $13 food/drink minimum (your prerogative), but it's not necessary. The good and different news is that everyone gets a seat (no bar at Vitello's) – even if you're not eating. It's only six dollars more than the Gardenia, but the fun here is that you CAN eat for the one price and the food is excellent – pastas, pizzas, salads. All seating is reserved, and attendance is by reservation only. Walk-ins are always welcome, but seating is subject to availability.

Parking available for $3.75/car in the Vitello's lot, but there is ample street parking in the vicinity. Do read street signs for any restrictions.
