Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal welcomes Broadway's Faith Prince and Jason Graae Monday, June 11, 2012 for the Los Angeles debut of The Prince and The Showboy.   

Veterans of 13 Broadway shows between them, The Prince and The Showboy showcases Tony Award Winner Faith Prince and L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award Winner Jason Graae singing their most requested and memorable Broadway numbers, including a heartfelt tribute to Broadway legend Jerry Herman who has been a significant influence on the two stars both personally and professionally. 

Faith Prince has been won the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as "Ms. Adelaide" in Guys and Dolls.  Other Broadway credits: A Catered Affair (Tony, DD, OCC noms), The Little Mermaid, Bells Are Ringing (Tony, DD, OCC noms), Nick & Nora (OCC Award), Jerome Robbins' Broadway (Tony, DD noms), Little Me, The Dead, Noises Off and, regionally, Terrence McNally's Unusual Acts of Devotion.  Most recently, Faith starred in the national tour of Billy Elliott.

Faith is a recurring guest star on Lifetime TV's Drop Dead Diva.  She was also a series regular on Showtime's Huff,and was featured as a recurring character for five seasons on Spin City. Other television credits: A Gifted Man, Happy Endings, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Faith, House, Medium, Monk, Now and Again and Law and Order.  Film credits: Our Very Own, Picture Perfect, Dave and My Father the Hero

Faith continues to work with leading orchestras, and tours her critically acclaimed one-woman show internationally.  Her newest album, Total Faith is readying for release; and her album A Leap of Faith is currently available on DRG Records. 

L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award Winner Jason Graae has starred on Broadway in A Grand Night For Singing, Falsettos, Stardust, Snoopy!, and Do Black Patent Leather Shows Really Reflect Up? Off- Broadway shows include Forever Plaid, Olympus on My Mind, All in the Timing, Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (Drama Desk Nomination- Best Actor in a Musical) and many more.

Jason Made his Metropolitan Opera House debut as a featured vocalist in Twyla Tharp's Everlast with the American Ballet Theatre. He has performed his one-man show all over the country, and has been included in Time Out NY's Top 10 Cabaret Shows.

On television, Jason has appeared on many shows including Six Feet Under, Rude Awakening, Friends, Frasier, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Living Single, Caroline in the City, and Providence. For 5 and 1/2 years, Jason was voice of Lucky the Leprechaunfor Lucky Charms Cereal. Jason has recorded over forty CDs, including original cast albums, concerts, compilations, and three solo albums.

Formerly known as Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's (June 9, 2006 to March 18, 2012), the new Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal had its grand opening on April 1, 2012 with an all-star cast of 5 and Special Guest Star Lanie Kazan.  Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal is located at 5303 Lankershim Blvd. (at Weddington Street) in North Hollywood, California's trendy NoHo Arts Disctrict.

Upcoming May/June headliners at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal include Broadway star John Arthur Greene (May 27); Bruce Kimmel's Kritzerland Records Salute to The Randy Newman Album (June 3) featuring Broadway's Melody Hollis and Leigh
Ann Larkin, Dennis Kyle, Gia Mora and Stephen Van Dorn, with world class guitarist, composer and multiple Emmy Award nominee Grant Geissman (Two and a Half Men, Mike and Molly); Kristin Towers Rowles (granddaughter of MGM film legend Kathryn Grayson) in a special (June 10) matinee performance of A Lovely Legacy; The Neverland Cabaret (June 18) in benefit of Discovery Arts and starring the current U.S. National Touring cast of Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby.  Closing out the month is American Idol's Bobby Bennett (June 24).  

Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal is produced by Michael Sterling and Tony Monsour of Michael Sterling & Associates, the Studio City-based entertainment public relations and Production Company.  Since 1980, Sterling has represented such stellar clients as Elizabeth Taylor, Lance Armstrong, Scott Hamilton, David Copperfield, Joan Collins, Alan Thicke, Carol Lawrence, David Brenner, Andy Gibb, and Robert Goulet, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager to name but a few.  Aside from his celebrity clientele, Sterling has represented Broadway musical theatre, various National Theatre and arena tours, Los Angeles theatre productions, Emmy Award-winning television specials, celebrity books, albums and CD's.  Mr. Sterling is also a critically-acclaimed director of musical theatre in Los Angeles, and has produced various theatrical events and productions throughout southern California.  www.msapr.net.
