Singer/actress Jan Daley will perform her one-woman show Where There's Hope at The Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2 PM as part of Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Sunday Series. Joining Jan Daley will be musical director David Cohen on the piano. The show will feature many standards from the Great American Songbook that Ms. Daley performed throughout her career, especially those highlighted by her USO tours with Bob Hope entertaining more than 40,000 GI's.

A true 'triple-threat', Jan Daley has starred in such musicals as Anything Goes, Taming Of The Shrew, and Carousel. She's made guest appearances on TV with Dean Martin, David Frost, Frankie Avalon, and Jack Cassidy. She toured as the opener for Don Rickles and David Brenner, and for Rodney Dangerfield and Louis Armstrong in Las Vegas. Her four record albums which are all available on CD on her website at www.jandaley.com - include the Academy Award nominated "Till Love Touches Your Life". As an actress, Ms. Daley has co-starred opposite such actors as Bruce Wills, Alex Baldwin, George Kennedy, Cybil Shepherd, Stephanie Zimbalist, Hugh O'Brian, Peter Fonda and Tom Hanks. But as Jan herself puts it "her bread and butter came from doing more than 150 commercials.

Most recently, Jan starred in the West Coast premiere of Funny; You Don't Look Like a Grandmother and a six-month run headlining The Follies in Branson. She also starred in Showgirl On 52nd Street, and with Peter Marshall and Mimi Hines in And Then She Wrote. Her current show Where There's Hope has had multiple performances at the major clubs in Southern California to rave reviews and she is pleased to make her Palm Desert debut at The Arthur Newman Theatre with pianist David Cohen on Sunday, November 6th at 2 PM. The box office doors will open at 1 PM with tickets at $10 cash only and reservations available by calling 760-325-2731.
