A play in 65 minutes, SUNSHINE is the story of a small-time stripper at Club Paradise, where women sit in isolated Plexiglas booths and talk dirty to their customers. Sunshine is the star of this place, with her name up in lights. And her unexpected encounter with disillusioned paramedic Nelson offers two lost souls a window to love and acceptance.

William Mastosimone (Playwright) made his professional debut with THE WOOLGATHERER in 1981. (L.A. Drama Critics Best Play 1982). EXTREMITIES followed in 1982. (Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Play 1982-83). In 1985 the play became a feature film by the same title. His play NANAWATAI! became a feature film called THE BEAST (1988). His mini-series SINATRA aired in 1992 (Golden Globe Award for Best Mini Series 1992). His film THE BURNING SEASON was the final work of the late Raul Julia. (Humanitas Award 1995 for Best Teleplay and Best Director the late great John Frankenheimer, 3 Golden Globes, and 2 Emmys). Followed by WITH HONORS and in 2002 his play BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD became a Showtime cable movie of the same title. (5 Emmy Awards, and the Peabody Award). BENEDICT ARNOLD aired on A&E cable in 2003. In 2004 he created, was head writer for, and co-produced INTO THE WEST for Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks. His other plays include A STONE CARVER, SHIVAREE, CAT'S-PAW, A TANTALIZING, TAMER OF HORSES, LIKE TOTALLY WEIRD, BLINDING LIGHT, TAKE DOWN BREAK DOWN, SLEEPWALK, PROUD FLESH, OBLIVION, T, THE MAJA NUDE, E.B.F., RIDE THE TIGER. His on-line play licensing company ICARUSPLAYS.COM is dedicated to the concerns of young people. He lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his wife Sharon and their 3 daughters.

Corryn Cummins (Director) Sunshine marks her second show with The Gangbusters, where she previously produced and appeared in Sunny Afternoon (World Premiere, Best of Fringe 2013), and her directorial debut. Most recently, Corryn appeared onstage as Alice in the World Premiere of The Missing Pages of Lewis Carroll at The Theatre @Boston Court. She is company member at Rogue Machine, where favorite work includes as Una in Blackbird (LA Premiere; LA Weekly Award, Two-Person Performance), Jackson in the LA Premiere of Bingo with the Indians, and producing the world Premiere of Small Engine Repair (Ovation, LA Weekly & LADCC Awards for Best Production). Other LA theatre Acting credits include work onstage with The Odyssey (LA Premiere of The Lonesome West), Sacred Fools (Hamlet Max, Hollywood Fringe 2014), The Blank (World Premiere of A Hole in the Dark), Padua Playwrights (LA/Atlanta/Berlin tour of World Premiere The Black Glass) and the LA Premiere of Killer Joe (Ovation Awards for Ensemble & Production). Chicago Acting credits include work with Steppenwolf (Fahrenheit 451), Lookingglass (World Premiere of Studs Terkel's Race adapted and directed by David Schwimmer), A Red Orchid (Chicago Premiere of The Grey Zone), Timeline (A Lion in Winter), Famous Door (Chicago Premiere of The Lonesome West) and Mary-Arrchie, with whom she won a Jeff Award for her work as The Girl in MacArthur fellow David Cromer's revival of The Hot l Baltimore. Corryn holds a BFA in Acting from Illinois State University and also works in film and television.

Dana Lyn Baron (Producer) is a company member at Rogue Machine Theatre, where she associate produced the world premiere of Vince Melocchi's NICE THINGS. She was also assistant director on Christopher Shinn's DYING CITY (2013 Ovation Winner, Best Production of the Year), directed by Michael Peretzian, and appeared behind the scenes of David Harrower's BLACKBIRD, directed by Robin Larsen. In Los Angeles, Dana has worked onstage with The Road Theatre Company and New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals). She works extensively in Voice Over. On TV: SHAMELESS, CRIMINAL MINDS, GENERAL HOSPITAL. FILM: has starred in many independent films, including 2014 Student Emmy Award-winning IN PASSING.

Christian Levatino (Executive Producer) is the proud founder/Artistic Director of the Gangbusters. His work with the company as a playwright, director, producer and actor has been nominated for the Ovation, Garland, L.A. Weekly, NAACP, StageScene LA, FRINGE FREAK, ReviewPlays and TicketHolder Awards. His debut piece as a playwright, SUNNY AFTERNOON (2013/2014) was a huge critical success. Levatino's follow up to SUNNY AFTERNOON, KING DICK is currently playing at the Hollywood Fringe.

The Gangbusters Theatre Company has been staging imagined truth with speed & violence since they were founded in the autumn of 2001 by Christian Levatino.
