Fierce Backbone presents the world premiere of BROKEN PANDA written by Amy Tofte (writer of the Flesh Eating Tiger, a previous Fierce Backbone Fringe 2012 Winner Best of Fringe and nominated for Best Play.) The comedy is directed by Leigh Kennicott. Ellen (white) and Jay (black) are facing the end of their marriage. Deciding to go through a mediation process instead of straight to divorce court, their "panda couple" status catches the interest of a sadistic bunch of researchers determined to find out if the root of all their problems is in their mixed race, or something inherently broken in the ways of love.

Cast features the talents of Esther Austin, Mandy Dunlap, Johnathan "Doc" Farrow, Morris Nash and Hui Ying Wen.
