FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Cast To Be 'Fiddlin' Around' At Gardenia Supper Club For BC/EFA, Held Thru 8/3

While their show's in town, cast members of the current "Farewell Tour" of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF starring Topol will be "Fiddlin' Around" at Hollywood's famed Gardenia Supper Club in a one-night-only cabaret, silent auction, and raffle benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading entertainment industry-based HIV/AIDS fundraising and grant-issuing organization.

A previous performance of "Fiddlin' Around" had a sold-out engagement at The Spot in Chicago that brought the company's BC/EFA fundraising to $44,000.

L.A. hot spots such as Spago and the Four Seasons are donating items to the silent auction, which will also feature FIDDLER tickets and signed posters, private singing lessons and success coaching sessions.

Among those scheduled to appear are several Broadway veterans, including Mary Stout (Beauty and the Beast), 2008 Helen Hayes Award-winner Erik Liberman (LoveMusik), Rena Strober (Les Miserables), Leslie Alexander (The Boy from Oz), Eric Van Tielen (A Tale of Two Cities), Rick Pessagno (42nd Street), and Joanne Borts and T. Doyle Leverett (Fiddler on the Roof). Additional tour cast members performing are: David Gilleo, Matthew Marks, Deborah Grausman, Katie Babb, Gary Brintz, Kerry Alexander, Rebecca Hoodwin, Juliana Stefanov, Colby Foytik, and Jessica Scholl. "Fiddlin' Around" is helmed by Erik Liberman, with music direction by David Andrews Rogers, tour MD, and Nathan Thomas, associate tour MD.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF runs through August 9 at Hollywood's Pantages Theater, and stars Golden Globe-winner, Topol, of the 1971 Oscar-nominated motion picture. Topol's "Farewell Tour" of the show has received rave reviews and played to sold-out houses across America since February.

"Fiddlin' Around" will be held Monday, August 3rd at 9pm at Hollywood's Gardenia Cabaret and Supper Club, 7066 Santa Monica Boulevard. Doors open at 7pm for dinner for a 9pm show. Cover charge is $15.00 and reservations are required. Please call (323) 467-7444.
