John Papapavlos and Audra Rodgers will debut FAIRYLAND, their dark, twisted sit-com about a dysfunctional Royal Family, in a live stage play at The Missing Piece Theatre in Burbank on Oct. 13-15. The show follows the trials and tribulations of an untraditional monarchy that rules the kingdom of FAIRYLAND (Hollywood). When Prince George, the monarchy's first gay Prince, accidentally marries best friend, Audrey, while on vacation in Vegas, the two friends are forced to make a very difficult decision that will dramatically impact their lives, as well as the future of the Royal Family.

"People should be allowed to love and be with whomever they want. When it comes down to it, every family has its own unwritten laws, rules, and obligations that they struggle with. When the blinds are shut, every family is going through the same thing. Laughter is the best medicine."
FAIRYLAND breaks down the barriers of what has defined traditional marriage including sexual orientation and preference, religion, class, and race. Co-Creator Papapavlos, a gay man who grew up in a traditional Greek family, lives with his male partner and developed the script based on his own beliefs.

"It doesn't matter if you are gay or straight, black or white, Christian, or Hindu, we all have our own unique path in life, and possess the personal choice of who we partner with," said Papapavlos. "Once the honeymoon period is over, it's less about sex and more about partnership, regardless of gender or sexual preference."

Added Co-Creator Rodgers, "People should be allowed to love and be with whomever they want. When it comes down to it, every family has its own unwritten laws, rules, and obligations that they struggle with. When the blinds are shut, every family is going through the same thing. Laughter is the best medicine."

Cast by Peter Pappas of Valko/Miller Casting (Two & A Half Men), the cast includes Blake Berris (Repp'd by ICM, & Emmy-nominated for his role as Nick Fallon on DAYS OF OUR LIVES) as "Prince George" and Mara Marini (currently on MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER) as "Audrey." Supporting cast includes Tracy Scoggins (DYNASTY and THE COLBYS), Ruth Williamson (Nip/TUCK), Candis Cayne (DIRTY SEXY MONEY), and more.
