Celebration Theatre Announces 30 MINUTE MUSICALS, Beginning 2/1

After six original musical theatre adaptations of cult-classic and blockbuster films (Showgirls, Jurassic Park, Top Gun, Teen Witch and Ghostbusters), and a "Best Musical" nomination at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival, 30 Minute Musicals settles in to The Celebration Theatre during their historic 30th Season.

30MM kicks off 2013 with a double-feature remount of the homoerotic, Tom Cruise classic, TOP GUN, with an all-male cast starring Tom Lenk (Buffy, Rock of Ages) and SHOWGIRLSstarring Brea Grant (Heroes, Dexter) as Cristal Connors. Adapted/directed by Brooke Seguin, produced by Secondline and Tom DeTrinis, TOP GUN/SHOWGIRLS also features original music by Dan Wessels and Brooke Seguin, and all-new, never before heard songs. Be sure to arrive early for a drink and the pre-show experience at the Cheetah Club, starting when doors open at 9:00pm.

30MM's Double-feature: TOP GUN and SHOWGIRLS features an unforgettable cast including: Adam Silver, Brea Grant, Blaine Vedros, Brooke Seguin, Clayton Farris, JD Barton, Lauren Clark, Lindsay Wray, Matt McConkey, Natalie Cook, Ryan Garcia, Sixx Carter, Tania Possick, Thomas Hobson, Tom DeTrinis, and Tom Lenk.

During 30 Minute Musicals tenure at The Celebration Theatre through 2013, 30MM will take on these cinematic classics: ROADHOUSE (A Rock Opera), a re-release of JURASSIC PARKin 4D, INDEPENDENCE DAY, HOOK, CARRIE, and a reprise of their smash hit, HOME ALONE.
