New York's 2009 Drama Desk Award winner Celebrity Autobiography returns to Los Angeles when The Broad Stage presents the hit show on February 20, 2011 at 1310 11th St., Santa Monica, CA with two performances at 7pm and 9pm.

The international smash hit comedy where outrageous and true celebrity memoirs are acted out live on stage by some of the funniest people in entertainment. Celebrity Autobiography is an evening of jaw-dropping, hard-to-believe vignettes excerpted straight from published celebrity tell-alls: from the ‘he-said, she-said' accounts of Burt and Loni, Tiger Woods' "golf lessons," the re-enactment of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson's courtship, to a hilarious ensemble "playlet" edited together from the memoirs of the most famous love triangle in Hollywood history-ElizaBeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Eddie Fisher. Audiences leave the show asking "Did these celebrities really write that?" Yup--we are not making any of it up!

Other major characters that have been featured in Celebrity Autobiography include: Sylvester Stallone, Mr. T., David Hasselhoff, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ivana Trump, VAnna White, Star Jones, Neil Sedaka, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers.

Playing to sell-out audiences and rave reviews in New York City since fall 2008 ...created by Emmy-nominated writer-performer Eugene Pack, and developed by Pack and Dayle Reyfel. Celebrity Autobiography is one of the most critically acclaimed, "buzzed about shows" of recent years, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The New York Times called Celebrity Autobiography "big-yuks entertainment" and a "merry compendium of the witlessness and wisdom of the rich and famous," and selected it as a critic's pick. The Daily News said it is a "potent comic cocktail...you weep with laughter." The New Yorker called it "inspired." Variety wrote, "Audience members hyperventilate. It should lead a long and happy life." And the New York Post called it "the funniest show in town hands down." The show has been featured by many major media outlets, including ABC's The View and Nightline, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, NPR's Morning Edition, CBS's Sunday Morning, CNN'S American Morning, and Bravo's A-List Awards as well as Time and the Wall Street Journal.

Celebrity Autobiography began its national tour summer 2010 with acclaimed performances in Pittsburgh, New Orleans, San Francisco, Chicago, Arizona, and Austin, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as an ongoing production at Los Angeles's Broad Stage. The show also recently opened at London's Leicester Square Theatre where it received rave reviews and plays to sell-out audiences.

This production at the The Broad Stage (1310 11th St, Santa Monica, CA) will run February 20th, 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
