Broadway Vet Allen Hidalgo Comes to The Hudson Theatre Tonight

Broadway veteran Allen Hidalgo brings his Concert to Los Angeles in this One Night Only performance, "Keep Your Inner Child Alive", tonight, March 24th, 2015 at 8pm at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Los Angeles.

Allen Hidalgo Has performed various roles on Broadway and Nationally. Most recently he was seen in "Jersey Boys." Prior to coming to Los Angeles, Allen created the starring role of Louie The Devil, opposite Keith David in the Broadway Production "Hot Feet", Directed and Choreographed by Maurice Hines with the music of Earth Wind and Fire.

Allen's first Broadway show was the original 1st National Company of "Cats". After that, he landed the original production of "Fame, The Musical" where he created the role of Joe Vegas. Since then, he has held starring and featured roles in "Starlight Express" as Greaseball and Electra, "West Side Story" as Bernardo, "A Chorus Line" as Paul, for which he was nominated by the Star Ledger for Best Featured Actor In A Musical in addition to performing the role in Europe.

Allen performed in " Ain't Misbehavin" as Andre, for which he won Best Actor In A Musical in Florida, in addition to performing the role Nationally with Marcia Milgram Dodge as Director. Allen created the role of The Governor's Aide in the last Broadway Revival of "Candide" playing opposite Andrea Martin and Jim Dale and Directed by the great Hal Prince. He has also performed Nationally in the current Broadway Revival of "Chicago" as Fred Casely and Billy Flynn.

Allen created the role of Jose Boriqua in the Off Broadway Smash, "Four Guys Named Jose". In addition: He was seen in the original Pre-Broadway Production of "The Mambo Kings" where he created the the iconic role of Desi Arnaz, opposite Esai Morales and David Alan Grier. He also starred in the Pittsburgh production of "The Wiz" directed by Kinky Boots star Billy Porter.

Allen's had the honor of performing the role of Molina in "Kiss Of The Spiderwoman" opposite the amazing and legendary Chita Rivera.

Cast recordings and compilations, include: "Candide", "Four Guys Named Jose", and "DRG 25th Anniversary Show Stopping Performances". Allen's single, "The Message" on Moonshine Records, hit Billboards top 40 on the dance charts for eight consecutive weeks.

As a Director and Choreographer he has staged various productions and launched several National TV commercial campaigns including, "UPS", "United Airlines" and "7-up". Allen is also an accomplished Host, making appearances as a Makeup and Makeover expert with companies such as "Chanel", "Diane Von Furstenberg", "Christian Dior", "Borghese" and Yves Saint Laurent.

Allen has made several Television and Film appearances. Including "To Wong Foo..." produced by Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg. "Kiss Of Chaos", "Didn't This Used To Be Fun?" , "Law and Order: CI" , "the Guiding Light" and "Broadway Bash".
