Boston Court to Present AFTER ORLANDO: An International Theatre Action

The Theatre @ Boston Court, in collaboration with Missing Bolts Productions and NoPassport Theatre Alliance to present After Orlando: An International Theatre Action as a community event Tuesday, November 15th at 8pm on the Main Stage at Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, CA.

After Orlando International Theatre Action is an international playwright driven theatre action including over seventy playwrights from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Africa. Plays have been specifically written and curated in response to this tragic event and will be performed across the US and in the UK throughout the autumn including readings in New York City (Rattlestick Theatre, LGBT Center, Abingdon Theatre, and HERE); Los Angeles (The Theatre @ Boston Court, The Road Theatre, East West Players and EST-LA); Seattle (Forward Flux Productions and Cornish College); Portland, Oregon (Artists Repertory Theatre and Boom Arts): Washington, DC (Round House Theatre and Olney Theatre Center); Philadelphia (Philadelphia Theatre Company); Boston (Brandeis University) and many more theatres and universities across the United States and internationally.

Located in Pasadena, California, and founded in 2003, The Theatre @ Boston Court produces passionate, artist-driven theatre, which challenges both artists and audiences. The Theatre @ Boston Court urges its artists to fearlessly and passionately pursue their unique voice and vision. Play selection encompasses a wide variety of genres with a special emphasis on new work, which are inherently theatrical, textually rich, and visually arresting. Led by Artistic Directors Jessica Kubzansky and Michael Michetti, The Theatre @ Boston Court is currently working on its 53rd production, a rolling world premiere of Bars and Measures by Idris Goodwin, opening September 24th. The Theatre @ Boston Court has also co-produced productions in New York City, Boston, Houston, and at the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades, CA.
