Both Tom Culver and Dolores Scozzesi have sold out many a show on their own in clubs in and around the Los Angeles area, but on Sunday, February 13th at 2 PM, the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert will offer two complete shows for the price of one ticket.

Tom Culver has been singing standards and jazz for as long as he can remember. Once, one of Hollywood's most sought-after costumers, Mr. Culver returned to his roots after retirement and began performing at clubs such as Spazio's, M Bar, Gardenia, Ten20, Hollywood Studio Bar and Grill, and even Vicky's of Sante Fe here in Indian Wells. Dolores Scozzesi's story mirrors Tom's almost to the letter except for the retirement part, being a businesswoman by day and a performer at night. Her unique vocal styling and song interpretation is clearly apparent in her latest CD "A Special Taste", from which her show will include, and can be previewed on her web site at www.doloresscozzesi.com. Tom's show includes selections from his latest CD, a tribute of sorts to one of his favorite's, Johnny Mercer, entitled "I Remember You" released last year and from his previous CD "Lucky To Be Me". Tom's web site is at www.tom-culver.com.

Tom and Dolores will be joined by pianist Marty Steel and presented by Les Michaels and Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment at the Joslyn Center's Arthur Newman Theatre on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2 PM with box office opening at 1 PM and complimentary wine before the show. Tickets are $10 cash only at the door of the theatre, which is located at 73-750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. Reservations are requested by calling 760-325-2731.

You don't expect a cabaret concert based on a woman who has endured so many roadblocks in her life to be funny or uplifting, but that is just what "My Journey" is. When singer and actress Gina Zollman takes the stage on Sunday, February 20th at 2 PM at the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert, we will look inside the makings of a woman with a purpose in life.

It is Gina Zollman's life wrapped up in song, story and humor! She's beaten obesity, depression, stroke, cancer, boyfriends, and showbiz survival. Just like life, it's a funny and heartbreaking trip through time. Gina takes us from her Italian-American home in deepest, darkest Orange County to Carnegie Hall with a few detours via Cedars Sinai Hospital, two marriages, one divorce, four life-threatening illnesses, and nine surgeries, and through it all Gina still has insurance!

What others have said about "My Journey": "Endearing and compelling!" - Chris Creson, KDOC-TV. "Song stylist par-excellence!" - Joseph Feinstein, Reviewer, Showmag.com.  "Prepare to be thrilled!" - Lori Donato, Jazz Artist and Performance Coach. "Truly incredible! Gina's ability to sell a song is incomparable!" - Shawn Ryan, International Cabaret Singer.

"My Journey" starring Gina Zollman is a presentation of producer Les Michaels and Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment at the Joslyn Center's Arthur Newman Theatre and will feature musical director Steven Applegate on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2 PM with box office opening at 1 PM and complimentary wine before the show. Tickets are $10 cash only at the door of the theatre, which is located at 73-750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. Reservations are requested by calling 760-325-2731.
