10th Annual Saddle Up LA Welcomes Laura Bell Bundy as Celebrity Trail Guide Today

Laura Bell Bundy released her newest CD, ANOTHER PIECE OF ME June 9, 2015 on Big Machine Records. The worldwide release across all digital retailers includes 15 tracks with LBB co-writing or co-producing more than half, while collaborating with producers Nathan Chapman, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts and Tyler Cain. Laura Bell Bundy debut at age 9 in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! At age 10, she originated the role of Tina Denmark in the successful off-Broadway production Ruthless, The Musical, for which she received the Outer-Critics Circle Award and a Drama Desk nomination. Next up was a chance to originate another role, this time as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray. She followed this with a turn as Glinda in the smash hit Wicked and eventually blew the roof off the Palace Theatre when she originated the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, a performance that earned her a Tony Award nomination, as well as Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk nominations.
She hit TV screen with a recurring role of "Shelby" on CW's Hart of Dixie. She also played the disgruntled teen "Marah Lewis" on Guiding Light and guest appearances on, Cold Case, Veronica Mars, Home Improvement, How I Met Your Mother, and Malibu Country. Bundy's film work includes Dream Girls, Jumanji, Life with Mikey, The Adventures of Huck Finn, To The Mat, and Watercolor Postcards.Her first CD "Achin' and Shakin'"contained the breakout hit "Giddy On Up" which reached #31 on the U.S. Billboard Country Charts and landed her a show stopping performance on the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards. She has had continued chart success with a single-releases "Two Step" featuring Colt Ford, "Kentucky Dirty" and "That What Angels Do."
The Life Group L.A. presents its Award Winning, 9th Annual "Saddle Up LA." (www.SaddleUpLA.org). An AIDS Benefit Horseback Trail Ride and Country BBQ which will be held Saturday July 11th in the Beautiful and Majestic Griffith Park Mountains.If you don't have your own horse, not a problem, 75 horses are being made available on a first come first reserved basis but you do not have to ride, you can come to the BBQ!
Registration is open now for those who want to sign up for the event and help raise money. The goal of this years' event is $100,000. All money raised helps the continuation of The Life Group's work.
The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of the fact that the AIDS Pandemic is not over and to raise much needed funds for the HIV services provided by The Life Group LA. It is also an affirmation of the power of compassion and a demonstration that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things.
Founded in 2005, The Life Group LA provides education, empowerment and emotional support to persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS that they may make informed choices regarding their healthcare and personal well being.
Using a variety of methodologies such as peer support groups and the POZ Life Weekend Seminar, The Life Group LA creates educational and empowering experiences in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Saddle up LA 2014 will be another ride to remember! It will honor not only those who have died of AIDS but will honor those of us who live on whether infected or affected by HIV.
