Titan Theatre Company Artistic Director Lenny Banovez and Producer Kevin Beebee announced today the concept, full cast and creative team for Titan Theatre Company's ambitious new production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's brilliant comedy of confused lovers, rude mechanicals and mischievous sprites. Performances begin at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City tonight, October 18, 2013 and will run through November 3, 2013.

"Audiences have embraced our signature approach to the Bard and this season we're pushing the envelope of our work even further as we bring the actor's nightmare to life with our take on the Dream," says Artistic Director Banovez. "We've assembled nine of New York's best classical actors who will take to the stage each night to play sixteen roles and, with the exception of Puck, our Master of Ceremonies, no one will know his or her track until their names are drawn from a hat before the audience. Each show will be an entirely unexpected experience, filled with gender reversals, shock and awe, yet audiences will still be treated to the captivating, electric and visceral performances they've come to expect from us."

The cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream features Titan Theatre Company members Laura Frye and Alexis Black, as well as Titan favorite Sean Hudock (star of the critically acclaimed film "Private Romeo," Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), Emily Trask (Twelfth Night at Folger Theater, Yale Rep, Utah Shakespeare),Matthew Foster ("House of Cards"; "Law & Order: SVU"), Gregory Isaac (Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf), Ryan Lee (Virginia Shakespeare, Illinois Shakespeare), Jonathon Mathew Finnegan (Actor's Theatre of Louisville), Lloyd Mulvey (Milwaukee Rep, Utah Shakespeare).

With direction by Lenny Banovez, who previously helmed Titan's hit productions of Romeo and Juliet and Henry V, A Midsummer Night's Dream is produced by Titan Theatre Company Managing Director Kevin Beebee and the late Leonard Banovez, Sr.

The creative team also includes Alan Piotrowicz (Lighting Design), Scott Frost (Costume Design), Michael Selkirk (Sound Design), Alexis Black (Fight Choreography), Alexis Achilles (Technical Direction) and Egypt Dixon (Stage Management).
