Due to Hurricane Sandy, the Hampton Theatre Company was forced to cancel all performances of its critically and popularly acclaimed production of David Lindsay-Abaire's "Good People" through November 4.

The company will be extending the run for an additional weekend with performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon from tonight, November 8 through November 18.

"Good People," a tough and tender new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, about the insurmountable divide between those who make it and those who don't, is the winner of the 2012 Horton Foote Prize for outstanding new American play.

"Good People" features Morgan Vaughan as Margie, Joe Pallister as Mike, Nehassaiu deGannes as Kate, Diana Marbury as Dottie, Linda May as Jean and Brennan Vickery as Stevie.

"Good People" will be presented on Thursdays at 7, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 and Sundays at 2:30. Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors (except Saturdays) and $10 for students under 21.
