Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce public workshop presentations of a new work-in-progress, COLIN QUINN THE NEW YORK STORY, directed by Jerry Seinfeld. The performances will feature Colin Quinn presenting the full show with the focus on the text and performer. The performances will be June 30, July 2, and July 3 all at 4 pm. Tickets are available online at www.baystreet.org or by stopping by or calling the Box Office at 631-725-9500.

In COLIN QUINN THE NEW YORK STORY, Colin bemoans the rise and fall of his hometown, the city formally known as NY, from its modest beginnings as Dutch outpost to the hipsters of modern Williamsburg to the vermin below and above ground. Quinn is once again at his satirical best, taking aim at the prejudice, paranoia's, and peculiarities that make New York City the crossroads of the world. Based on Colin's best-selling book, The Coloring Book (Grand Central Publishing).

Colin Quinn is the author of The Coloring Book: A Comedian Solves Race Relations in America (2015). He was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 2000, anchoring Weekend Update in his last two years on the show. Quinn hosted the TV shows Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and The Colin Quinn Show, and cohosted Remote Control. He appeared in the films Grown Ups 2 (2012), Grown Ups (2010), Harold (2008), A Night at the Roxbury (1998) and Who's the Man? (1993). His TV credits include Girls, The Awesomes and Inside Amy Schumer. On Broadway, Quinn wrote and performed the one-man shows Colin Quinn: Long Story Short and Colin Quinn: An Irish Wake. He debuted Colin Quinn Unconstitutional Off Broadway in 2013.
