Bay Street Theatre is pleased to announce the ever popular MUSIC THEATRE CAMPS are returning August 1-5 and 8-12; 1:30-4 pm daily. Back by popular demand, each week long session includes classes and games incorporating every aspect of theater including: acting, singing, performance and dance. Students write and perform in their own mini-musical!

From August 1-5, camp is led by Debra Barsha, a professional teacher as well as Broadway performer and musician. She is the current pianist, and Associate Conductor of Broadway's Jersey Boys. Beyond her performing talents, Barsha is also known for her songwriting, and she has penned a number of musicals for both children and adults alike. "I tell the kids in theater class that there is no such thing as a mistake. It's one of the only places in their lives they will ever hear that. As long as you are in character, you are allowed to be and do anything you want!" says Debra.

The August 8-12 camp is led by Marcy McGuigan. McGuigan is a stage, television/video actress, singer, comedienne, educator and musician. Known for her vivid characterizations and impersonations, McGuigan is comfortable performing leading ladies as well as supportive side kick characters.
