Wynn Las Vegas Welcomes Vocalist Michael Monge
Wynn Las Vegas is pleased to welcome classic vocalist Michael Monge for his Las Vegas debut inside Eastside Lounge at Encore.
Drawing inspiration from the musical icons that put the Las Vegas Strip on the map, Monge's vocals embody the charisma of the timeless lounge performer that made Las Vegas entertainment one of a kind. Monge covers hits from Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dean Martin among others and takes a classic approach on contemporary songs of today from John Legend, John Mayer and more. Known for his uncanny vocal resemblance to the late Frank Sinatra, Monge has played venues throughout New York and the East Coast.
"There is something special about performing in a lounge," said Monge. "There are no barriers or stage to separate you from the audience. It becomes one shared experience where you see the smiles, shake people's hands and dance together. That's a connection that only happens at a place like Eastside Lounge."
Monge will headline in Encore's Eastside Lounge accompanied by a three-piece band with piano, bass and drums to enhance the live entertainment experience. With its floor-to-ceiling poolside views, plush seating and intimate atmosphere, Eastside Lounge debuts a classically inspired cocktail menu paying tribute to Monge's timeless sound. The expansive traditional martini and classic Manhattan cocktail menu highlight the diversity of the gin and whisky categories and celebrate distinct and flavored Vermouths allowing guests to explore a wide variety of flavors and botanicals.
Monge will appear in Eastside Lounge six nights a week, Wednesday to Monday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more information on Eastside Lounge and entertainment offerings at Wynn Las Vegas, call 702-770-9966 or visit wynnlasvegas.com/shows.
