Table 8 Productions presents the Las Vegas Premiere of OREGON TRAIL: THE PLAY by A.J. Allegra as part of the Las Vegas Fringe Festival. The limited run begins June 7 at Las Vegas Little Theatre and plays for four performances through June 15. The production is directed by Troy Heard.

OREGON TRAIL is an irreverent and hilarious new play based on the popular educational computer game from the 1980s and 90s. Join the Bootsmeyer family as they try to survive the grueling cross-country journey...and each other. Like a hybrid of Bonanza, The Simpsons and Little Miss Sunshine, OREGON TRAIL: THE PLAY pays tribute to the American traditions of Westerns, dysfunctional families and cross-country road trips - all with the trappings of the beloved game played by so many millions in school.

"OREGON TRAIL was a huge hit when it premiered at last years New Orleans Fringe Festival," said director Heard. "After reading it, it's easy to see why. First, it's nostalgic if you grew up playing it. Then A.J. has written a ridiculously hilarious and politically incorrect script. Finally, there's a good amount of audience participation, which is something I like to incorporate into Table 8 shows. So show up early to join in the squirrel hunting sequence!"

OREGON TRAIL: THE PLAY will have four performances: Saturday, June 7, at 4 pm; Thursday, June 12, at 9 pm; Saturday, June 14, at 5:30 pm; and Sunday, June 15, at 3 pm. Single tickets are $12.00 and are available through the LVLT Box Office or on www.lvlt.org. Multiple show Festival passes are available as well. Performances of OREGON TRAIL: THE PLAY will be at Las Vegas Little Theatre, located at 3920 Schiff Drive, Las Vegas, NV, 89103.
