Robin Williams, one of the most gifted actors and comedians of our time, returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, Dec. 5. The Academy Award and GRAMMY® winner Williams' many film roles include blockbuster comedies such as "Mrs. Doubtfire," "The Birdcage," "Jumanji," "Hook" and "Night at the Museum"; animated films including "Aladdin," "Robots" and "Happy Feet"; and the darker roles in "Insomnia" and "One Hour Photo." Classical and pop superstar Andrea Bocelli announced his Fall/Winter U.S. tour in conjunction with the recent release of his highly anticipated album, My Christmas. The tour kicked off in Florida in November and will include a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, Dec. 12. Bocelli's performances will celebrate much of the repertoire the classical cross-over singer has made world-famous throughout his incredible career. UFC 108: EVANS vs. SILVA

The UFC® has announced that the bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and Brazilian knockout artist Thiago Silva will headline UFC 108, a result of Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira having to pull out of his fight with Cain Velasquez due to a severe left elbow injury. UFC 108: EVANS vs. SILVA, presented by "Bayonetta," will be held Saturday, Jan. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and televised live on pay-per-view.

AC/DC

Multi-platinum rock legend AC/DC will bring its highly successful Black Ice World Tour, which kicked off in October 2008, to the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. AC/DC's newest album, Black Ice, is its first in more than eight years and was released worldwide in October 2008. Evident that the band remains an incredible force in the rock industry, Black Ice made history when it debuted at No. 1 on album charts in 29 countries. It also has the distinction of being Columbia Records' biggest debut album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales data in 1991.

Following a triumphant summer European tour, Metallica will return to rock North America this fall for the second leg of its "World Magnetic Tour." Larry The Cable Guy, the American stand-up comedian and actor known best for his signature catch-phrase "Git-R-Done," will bring his hilarious routine to Las Vegas and make a stop at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, Dec. 12. On July 4 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb., he performed in front of more than 50,000 fans, a show that was a ‘thank you' to his fans as well as the entire state of Nebraska for their long-time support. "SUGAR" SHANE MOSLEY vs. ANDRE BERTO

It began as a war of words fought on internet websites and now welterweight superstars "Sugar" Shane Mosley and Andre Berto will take their dispute from cyberspace to the ring Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. A future Hall of Famer with five world titles to his name, "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-5, 39 KOs) has ruled the lightweight, welterweight and junior middleweight divisions over his storied 16-year career. One of boxing's top young stars, 26-year-old Andre Berto (25-0, 19 KOs) first made his mark on the worldwide sports scene as a member of the 2004 Haitian Olympic team. The 12-round bout will air live on HBO's World Championship Boxing and will determine once and for all the king of the 147-pound weight class.

Every other year on March 11 the multi-platinum group 311 holds a special concert event attracting thousands of fans worldwide. The event is typically held in New Orleans and as a result, the Mayor of New Orleans officially proclaimed March 11 as "311 Day" in New Orleans. However, next year's "311 Day" concert will move to the Mandalay Bay Events Center for a performance Thursday, March 11, 2010.

Billed as the ‘ultimate 311 concert experience,' "311 Day" is the premier event for 311 fans to gather and celebrate their love of the band and to witness an extraordinary show. 311 will play an extended set list (five hours) of hits, rarities, covers and classics; backed by a state-of-the-art light and special effects show. There also is a potential for appearances by circus performers, aerial acrobats, fire twirlers, stilt walkers, drumlines and marching bands.
