The legendary Laugh Factory Las Vegas at the New Tropicana Las Vegas today announced this week's comedy lineup. James Stephens III and Bill Dawes will be taking the stage April 16-22. The comedy showroom features different marquee acts each week, hosting the hottest comedians in the business, from established stand-up superstars to the young rising stars of tomorrow. Laugh Factory Las Vegas shows are performed daily at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $29 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets. Special two-for-one tickets are also available for locals and Tropicana Las Vegas hotel guests for both 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. shows.

James Stephens III, known as “Da Funnyman,” never fails to light-up the stage with his boundless energy and versatile comedic style. Whether reminiscing about his childhood in South Carolina or getting the audience to join him in a gospel-style sing-along, Stephens’ unique brand of comedy has garnered national and international acclaim.

A comedian, impressionist, actor and musician, Stephens is blessed with the uncanny ability to bring joy to diverse audiences. Known for his extraordinary impressions, he practically becomes the person he is imitating, whether it’s Elvis Presley or Snoop Dogg.

Stephens has graced the stage with legendary greats such as Aretha Franklin and James Brown and has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the White House. Notable television appearances include MTV’s “Half Hour Comedy Hour,” Comedy Central, NBC’s “Friday Night Videos,”  “The Dana Carvey Show,” and a starring role in the Fox sketch comedy “The Edge.”

Bill Dawes is a triple threat: actor, comedian and writer. He has appeared in several hit shows including “Sex and the City,” “OZ,” and “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” as well as in recurring roles on “Damages,” “All My Children,” and “One Life to Live.” In film, he had an acting and writing role in the movie version of the bestselling book, “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell.” As a comic, Dawes has performed all over the U.S. and the world, including tours in Canada, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and South Africa.
