Tia's Hope was founded in honor of Tia Palermo who was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2001 and bravely battled the disease for over 11 years. Tia's Hope was created by Tia's loving family to honor her wish that the children at City of Hope receive gifts during their holiday stay at the hospital. Tia also heavily invested in helping to find a cure for the disease that took her life. She joined the Board of Phase One and whole-heartedly believed in their mission of supporting cancer research and treatment in our community. Therefore, Tia's Hope also allocates a portion of its income each year to the general funds of Phase One.
