Erykah Badu to Host Centric's Soul Train Awards at the Orleans Arena

Centric's Soul Train Awards will return to the Orleans Arena on Sunday, Nov. 6 with four-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Erykah Badu hosting the star-studded event.

Teddy Riley will receive the "Legend Award," honoring his illustrious career as a three-time Grammy Award-winning producer, singer and songwriter. Brandy, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter who has sold more than 40 million albums since the early 1990's, will be presented with the second-annual "Lady of Soul Award."

Drake and Beyonce lead the group of artists with the most nominations, with Drake receiving 12 and Beyonce receiving eight. In addition, Rihanna, Kanye West, DJ Khaled and Usher all received multiple nominations.

The Soul Train Awards will air on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Centric and BET.

Tickets start at $55 plus taxes and fees, and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000; online at www.OrleansArena.com, or in-person at gift shops inside The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam's Town. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the show (depending upon availability) at the venue box office.
