EVIL DEAD's 'Watching Dead' Parties Return Next Month

Since it hit the Las Vegas Strip, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL been the host for THE WALKING DEAD Viewing Parties in Las Vegas. Presented by Fat Beard, the parties have grown with each new season in capacity and crowd size. This season, the parties have a brand new name and a brand new location.

The parties are now known as THE WATCHING DEAD. This was the winner of many names suggested and voted on by Las Vegas fans of the WALKING DEAD. Along with the name, the parties are getting a new home fitting their growing size. They will be at SAUCE, 721 Mall Ring Circle, Las Vegas NV 89014. This new location is right next to the Galleria Mall, has a large parking lot, can accommodate hundreds of fans, has comfortable seating, is well lit, has a separate area for smokers, and all-in-all works well for the direction the parties are taking.

The WATCHING DEAD will happen every Sunday night a new episode of THE WALKING DEAD airs. The parties start at 8pm and end at 2am. The evening will include LVLUP Expo's zombie shooting gallery, InsertCoins.com's Zombie Arcade Challenge, and Karate Karaoke's after-party. The entire event is hosted by Sirc Michaels and the cast of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, who will be on-hand to take picturess with fans, give out prizes, host trivia, and more.

The WATCHING DEAD is an experience designed with the WALKING DEAD and the show's fans in mind. A variety of WALKING DEAD and zombie-related merchandise - much of it hard-to-find items - will be available for purchase. There are also added elements of entertainment including rounds of THE WALKING DEAD trivia during commercial breaks, an ongoing raffle, costume contests, and karaoke.

"These parties are getting better and better," said Sirc Michaels, producer and director of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL. "As a fan of WALKING DEAD, I can't imagine a better experience than watching the episodes with other like-minded fans. It's an entire evening of entertainment built around one of the most popular television shows on cable, for fans by fans, making this a unique experience you can only get in Las Vegas, hosted by us, presented by Fat Beard."

With all the people attending and the activities on-hand, it would be easy to image that hearing and seeing the show itself would be a challenge. But according to Michaels, that couldn't be further from the truth. "There is a great amount of noise during the warm-up before the episode itself. Once the show starts, THE WALKING DEAD will be shown on large screens that are easy to see, making sure there isn't a bad seat in the house. Once the episode starts, everyone quiets down to watch as the sound plays over the entire system."

During the commercial breaks, Sirc Michaels and the cast of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL present trivia questions and give out prizes. Throughout the evening raffle tickets will also be available for prizes later on in the night. Once the episode is over, the party continues with karaoke, photo opportunities, and shopping.

In addition to the cast of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, Fat Beard, Cheese Boy Comics, Karate Karaoke, LVLUP Expo, InsertCoins.com Retro Boutique, Valkyrie Komics, Sassy Chey Bows, Zombien Nation, and Casey Jade Photography will all be on hand to provide photos, prizes, games, zombie memorabilia, and other items for perusal and sale.

Doors to THE WATCHING DEAD at SAUCE open at 8 p.m. every Sunday beginning October 12 and the party runs until 2am.
