Las Vegas Legend Wayne Newton celebrated the Opening Night of his all-new show, Once Before I Go, with a star-studded red carpet and gala last night, October 28 at Tropicana Las Vegas. Newton's limited engagement production is in honor of his 50 years as an entertainment icon on the Las Vegas Strip.

The highlight of the evening was when "Dancing with the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke, made a surprise on stage appearance to support her favorite dance partner by adding a fedora and mustache to Newton's ensemble, as she did during their final Tango performance in the 2007 season.

In addition to Burke, several sizzling "Dancing with the Stars" pros walked the red carpet and attended the premiere including Edyta Sliwinska, Alex Mazo, Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts.

Surrounded by hundreds of onlookers, Newton kicked off the evening by walking the red carpet in pure Las Vegas Legend style. Also walking the red carpet and attending the premiere and after-party were celebrities including comedians and TV personalities Drew Carey and Wayne Brady, PEEPSHOW's Holly Madison, VAnna White of Wheel of Fortune, and Sabrina Bryan of the girl group Cheetah Girls and Newton's fellow contestant on "Dancing with the Stars." Newton's friends Louis Prima Jr. and Tracey Davis, daughter of Sammy Davis Jr. attended as did Las Vegas headliners Carrot Top, Zowie Bowie, Nathan Burton and Frank Marino.

Once Before I Go celebrates 50 years of Newton entertaining audiences, and is an intimate journey  through the life of a legend spent on stage. From a shy 15-year-old just off the bus, to his place as one of America's most celebrated entertainment icons, Once Before I Go is the story of Wayne Newton told by the man who is living it.

Having performed live to more than 40 million people, Newton has epitomized the talent, glamour and energy that is Las Vegas. Once Before I Go will feature Newton with a full orchestra, photos and video, the latest in theater technology and lots of surprises. It is only fitting that this never before seen show celebrating the man who has been such an integral part of the rich history of Las Vegas will come alive in the equally iconic Tropicana Las Vegas, one of the first resorts to make The Strip an international sensation.

Tickets for Once Before I Go can be purchased by calling the Tropicana Box Office at 702-739-2411 / 800-829-9034 or online at www.Tropicanalv.com.
