Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas Resorts Celebrate Chinese New Year with Dining Specials and Lion Dances

In honor of the Lunar New Year, Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas resorts will celebrate the Year of the Rooster with special dining menus and traditional lion dances, beginning Friday, Jan. 27. Additionally, each Total Rewards resort will welcome guests with festive and elaborate decorations on the casino floor including hanging lanterns, banners, firecrackers and floral arrangements. Dining:

The iconic Caesars Palace will delight guests with a variety of distinct dishes and specials at multiple restaurants including Beijing Noodle No. 9, MR CHOW, Tiger Wok & Ramen and Bacchanal Buffet. Specials include:

  • Tiger Wok & Ramen at Forum Food Court: Each guest will receive a mandarin orange with their meal. During Chinese New Year, mandarin oranges and tangerines are considered traditional symbols of abundance and good fortune.
  • Bacchanal Buffet: Special dishes include Marinated Jelly Fish with Shredded Chicken, Braised Soya Chicken and Sweet Rice Cake.
  • Beijing Noodle No 9: A full menu celebrating Chinese New Year will be available for guests to enjoy. View full menuhere.
  • MR CHOW: Every table will be given a plate of mandarin oranges-a symbol of abundance and good fortune. Soup features include Double Boiled Port Soup with Dry Oyster, Tomato Soup with Corn and Potatoes and Double Boiled Water Cress Soup.

These dining specials will be available from Friday, Jan. 27 through Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Lion Dances:

Keeping up with the Chinese tradition, Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas resorts will host more than 10 lively lion dances to bring good luck across the city, beginning with nightly performances at The LINQ Promenade on Friday, Jan. 27 through Monday, Jan. 30. At each of the nine resorts, additional lion dance performances will start at the porte cochère and make their way through the casino from Saturday, Jan. 28 through Wednesday, Feb. 8.

On Saturday, Jan. 28, Caesars Palace will celebrate with a bang, featuring firecrackers and a traditional lion eye painting ceremony at the resort's porte cochère starting at 5 p.m. After the eye painting, the lions will continue through Palace Court, Nobu Hotel, Beijing Noodle No. 9, Bacchanal Buffet and the first floor of MR CHOW.

The full lion dance schedule includes:

  • Friday, Jan. 27: The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 28: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at noon; Paris Las Vegas at 1 p.m.; Bally's Las Vegas at 2 p.m.; Caesars Palace at 5 p.m.; and The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Jan. 29: The Cromwell at 3 p.m.; Flamingo Las Vegas at 3:45 p.m.; The LINQ Hotel & Casino at 5 p.m. and The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 30: The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 8: Harrah's Las Vegas at 5 p.m. and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino at 7 p.m.
