The UNLV Performing Arts Center welcomes The Broadway Divas at 8PM on Saturday, October 20 as part of the New York Stage & Beyond Series. Direct from the casts of Broadway's biggest shows, the Broadway Divas - Shayna Steele, Emily Skinner, Kate Baldwin, and Kimberly Grigsby - sing brand new arrangements of Broadway tunes by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Urban Cowboy) and Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party).

World-class vocalist Shayna Steele has been on the Broadway and NYC music scene for 10 years. She was cast to be the first replacement in the history of the Broadway production of Rent. Other Broadway credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and the smash hit musical Hairspray.

Skinner received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama League Award for her starring role on Broadway in Side Show. She has also starred on Broadway in Dinner at Eight (Lincoln Center), The Full Monty, James Joyce's The Dead, and Jekyll & Hyde.

Baldwin has starred on Broadway in The Full Monty, Thoroughly Modern Millie (original cast), and Wonderful Town (Helen).

Grigsby has conducted and music directed the following Broadway shows: Grease, Spring Awakening; The Light in the Piazza; Caroline, or Change; The Full Monty; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Twelfth Night (music by Jeanine Tesori).

Tickets to The Broadway Divas are $40, $55, and $85 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 895-ARTS (2787) or by visiting pac.unlv.edu. A $1 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10AM to 6PM Monday through Friday and 10AM to 4PM on Saturday. Founded in 1976, the Performing Arts Center at UNLV continues to be Southern Nevada's premier performing arts venue. Located on the north end of the UNLV campus, the PAC hosts a variety of performances each year in three distinct series: the Charles Vanda Master Series, the New York Stage & Beyond Series, and the UNLV Classical guitar Series. UNLV and KLVX Channel 10 are graciously sponsoring the season.
