Theatre for Young America presents The Velveteen Rabbit, running from April 11th to May 13th, 2017. This play is a faithful adaptation of the beloved book by Margery Williams. It is a story of love, reality and imagination all centered on the deep bond between a toy rabbit and boy fighting illness. "What is Real?" the Velveteen Rabbit asks the Skin Horse. "Does it hurt?" There is magic, comedy, adventure and triumph in this wonderful tale set in a modern-day library.
Season, single or group rate tickets may be reserved by calling Theatre for Young America at 816.460.2083. Group and single tickets may also be purchased from Union Station at 816.460.2020 or reserved online at www.unionstation.org. The single ticket price is $11.00. Groups of 15 or more are $5.50 per person with a reservation. Performances take place on the H&R Block City Stage is on level B in Union Station. Union Station is located at 30 W.
