Kansas City Repertory Theatre to Host A FEARLESS FETE Gala

Kansas City Repertory Theatre announced details today for its upcoming annual fundraising gala event. Proceeds from A FEARLESS FÊTE support KCRep's nationally acclaimed productions, the OriginKC New Works Program, and over 11,000 area students KCRep serves each season through education programs.

A Fearless Fête has earned a reputation for being one of the least traditional parties in town, and this year's Gala is no exception.

"A Fearless Fête is part costume party, part epic celebration of theatre," Executive Director Angela Gieras says. "The gala event delights guests with food from our area's best restaurants, cosmic cocktails and incredible entertainment from KCRep. With our Gala Chairs' leadership, this year's party is sure to be a dazzling night to remember."

Hosted by Gala Chairs Kathy and Mark Donovan (President of the Kansas City Chiefs), the event will be an out-of-this-world spectacle that features fun activities and close encounters with some of KC's brightest stars. Grab some heavenly creations prepared by our best local restaurants and catch a stellar musical performance in Spencer Theatre, featuring KCRep favorites, Shanna Jones and Jenny Ashman! That said, leave your black-tie apparel at home! Gala attendees are encouraged to show up in their best space-inspired costume and join forces with fellow theatre lovers as they support KCRep.

The event will also feature live and silent auctions, with great packages including a VIP Chiefs tailgate party inside Arrowhead Stadium and a once-in-a-lifetime walk-on role in KCRep's 2017 production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL!
