Italian American Actor Andrea Galata to Star in Japanese TV Series OTONA-NO KISO EIGO

Italian American actor Andrea Galata will star in season five and six of Otona-no Kiso Eigo, the English-education program produced by NMH, Japan's largest broadcast organization.

The show, that started airing in 2012 and now counts more than 100 episodes, shot its last two seasons in New York, where the Italian actor and performer lives now.

Starring Japanese actress Maya Okano, directed by Naohiko Tsuchiya and produced for NMH Educational by Koji Takayanagi and Shiho Kataoka, the show has become a definite must watch for the Japanese audience thanks to its scripts that has TAKEN its spectators all around the world, filming in locations such as London, Hong Kong and, of course, New York, with an audience of almost 3 million viewers across Japan for its last three seasons.

Born in Sicily, after living for fifteen years in Rome, he moved to New York on the summer of 2016. Actor, dancer, performer and model, Galata' already starred several musical shows, commercial and reels in New York. One of the last movies he shot in Italy before moving to the US, the fantasy feature film Handy, is now premiering in cinemas in Italy.
