The 2017 Intimadance Festival will take place for its 17th year from June 27 to July 1 at Tmu-na Theatre led by Artistic Directors Anat Katz and Erez Ma'ayan, and along with Artistic Consultant Nava Zuckerman will present contemporary performance and dance pieces which are looking for a new path, language, content and action in order to respond to reality. "Appropriate Response".

But how should we act? How should we react? What reaction can withstand the so rapidly changing circumstances? Is the artist's present toolbox still relevant and effective enough to create a reaction in today's world? To create and maintain a connection with his or her surroundings? What does creativity have to offer to our esoteric, temporary world? We need new tools, new forms to respond to a new world.

For the first time, the 5 days long festival will include an international collaboration, including a premiering piece by Moreno Perna (Amsterdam) from Jan Fabre's group.

Also for the first time there would be given a stage for young artists in a unique collaboration with all dance training institutions in the country: the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Kibbutzim College, the 'Maslool' Professional Dance Program Tel Aviv, Gaaton Dance Workshop, Haifa Dance Workshop, Re-Search, Kelim.

Participants: Renana Raz, Rachel Erdos, Lee Meir, Daniel Shufra, Yigal Tzur, Uri Lankinsky, Moreno Perna, Matan Preminger and Anna Baniel, Anat Va'adia, Nir Vidan, Raz Gluzman and Anat Asodi, Snir Nakar, Lital Ben-Horin and others.
