East Coast

1. Baltimore, MD: Editor Charles Shubow says that GODSPELL at Olney Theatre Center is "pure joy" (which runs through March 1). He says, "Emily Zickler nails "By My Side". Read his full review including other highlights here.

Midwest

2. Madison, WI: Editor Amanda Finn spotlights Shakespeare in Strollers' production of TWELFTH NIGHT. She says, "The servants are the most fascinating characters in Twelfth Night both on paper as well as stage... In the case of this production, some of the brightest performances came from the servant's quarters." Read her full review here.

3. Kansas City, MO: This week, Spinning Tree Theatre announced its 2015-16 season, including WEST SIDE STORY, THE TURN OF THE SCREW and more. Editor Steve Wilson reported on the new season here.

Southwest

4. Memphis, TN: Editor Joseph Baker gives a stunning review of O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT. He says, "Relying on a commitment to quality of writing and performance, it has pulled off a real coup: A stunning production of Eugene O'Neill's warhorse of a classic, the autobiographical LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, produced posthumously and, in 1962, given classic cinema status by Director Sidney Lumet and brilliant performers Ralph Richardson, Katharine Hepburn, Dean Stockwell, and Jason Robards, Jr. (to whom O'Neill was as essential as Tennessee Williams was to Elizabeth Taylor). Read the full review here.

Southeast

5. Tampa, FL: Editor, Peter Nason reviews MAD Theatre of Tampa's RENT and says, "I have seen several performances of RENT since the 1990's, and this is by far one of the best. First of all, they have a Mimi that rocks the house. Tyla A. Rodrigo is simply sensational. Her "Out Tonight" sizzles, and her voice rocks when needed but also exudes vulnerability (especially in the exquisitely performed and staged "Without You")." Check out his full review here.

Pioneer Theatre Co's THE CRUCIBLE

West:

6. Salt Lake City, UT: Editor Tyler Hinton reviews Pioneer Theatre Company's THE CRUCIBLE (running through February 28). He calls it "fascinating" and "well-produced" and goes on, "The subject matter and storytelling are supremely fascinating, and director Charles Morey is successful in carefully unspooling the intertwined dramatic and emotional threads of the piece." Read his entire review here.

7. Los Angeles, CA: Senior Editor, Don Grigware reviews a "glorious" SOUTH PACIFIC at Musical Theatre West through March 8. Calling it a "sensational cast," Grigware adds, "Joe Langworth proves a sturdy director/choreographer and has remained faithful to the 2008 Tony winning Broadway revival. The small-town simplicity of Nellie (Alessa Neeck) and European charm of Emile De Becque (Christopher Carl) surprisingly click together with romantic sparks flying until racial issues come to the fore." Check out the full review here.

Australia/Oceania

8. Adelaide, Australia: Senior Editor Barry Lenny is offering comprehensive coverage of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. One of the cabaret performances, CAMILLE O'SULLIVAN: CHANGELING, received high reviews. Lenny says, "Camille O'Sullivan is one of the world's greatest and most loved cabaret performers and, yet again, she demonstrated beyond any shadow of a doubt that she deserves to be acknowledged in those terms." 9. South Africa: Senior Editor David Fick reports on a new piece by David Kramer, ORPHEUS IN AFRICA. He says, "ORPHEUS IN AFRICA proves to be a story worth telling but one - like most new musicals - that needs refining in the way it tells its story..... One of the strongest aspects of ORPHEUS IN AFRICA is the set of performances that brings the story to life." Read his full review here.

National Tour Highlight:

10. PIPPIN National Tour flew through Minneapolis this week and editor Kristen Hirsch Montag said, "The cast was strong overall, but the circus-trained performers were truly the highlight of the night with just enough of the hand stands, head stands, leaps and bounds, strong men and uber flexible women to keep things hopping, especially in Act 1." Who was the hometown girl in the show? Find out by reading her full review here.

This week, we would like to welcome Haydn Hating as a new regional editor in South Carolina and Isabel D. Almaraz who will be heading up coverage in Miami.
